■About the Seminar
Under the theme “How Is Bangladesh Moving Under the New Administration? Opportunities for Japanese Companies in Global Expansion and IT Talent Utilization,” the seminar provided insights into Bangladesh’s current situation and future outlook following the new administration’s establishment. Information was also shared on opportunities for Japanese companies to expand overseas and on the utilization of IT talent.

In addition, a panel discussion was held featuring the speakers, who exchanged views on the potential of the Bangladeshi market for Japanese companies, effective approaches to leveraging IT talent, the current state of offshore development, collaboration with local companies, and key practical considerations for market entry.

The Japan Bangladesh IT Association was established to promote public-private collaboration between Japan and Bangladesh and to contribute to improving the economies, societies, and quality of life in both countries.

The association supports Japanese companies seeking to expand into Bangladesh while working toward the realization of a world-class IT society through cooperation between the two nations. As part of these efforts, it is promoting “Japan Valley,” a support project designed for companies considering business expansion into Bangladesh.
