Abolition of Special Paid Leave for Vaccination (Vaccination Leave)

We announce that the "Special Paid Leave (Vaccine Leave)" will be discontinued as of May 7, 2023 (Sun.), due to the shift of COVID-19 infectious disease classification to "5" on May 8, 2023 (Mon.).

SUN Co., Ltd. decided on May 24, 2021, to introduce a special paid leave for vaccination (Vaccination Leave) for all employees in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to help employees who wish to be vaccinated to do so without anxiety.
■ Introduction of Special Paid Leave for Vaccination (Vaccination Leave)
In April 2021, we were certified by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government as a company that implements the "Telework
Tokyo Rules", and we have been taking measures to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection
(COVID-19) and to create a safe working environment for our employees.
We have decided to introduce special paid leave (Vaccination Leave) with the aim of preventing the spread of
COVID-19 and ensuring that employees who wish to be vaccinated can do so without anxiety. Eligible employees
will be able to take special paid leave (Vaccination Leave) on the day of vaccination or if they feel unwell due
to a side effect after vaccination.
