Participated in the Cabinet Office’s “Telework Promotion Project for Regional Revitalization” and made an “Action Declaration”

SUN Co., Ltd. (Headoffice: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Shumpei Nakasone) agrees with the purpose of the “Telework Promotion Project for Regional Revitalization” promoted by the Cabinet Office and the Cabinet Secretariat, and have made an “Action Declaration” to participate in the promotion project. The declaration was officially accepted by the Cabinet Office and the Cabinet Secretariat, and has been posted on the website of the “Telework for Regional Revitalization” project.

We will promote the following items in accordance with the Action Declaration.

We are aiming to expand our business in Aichi, Osaka, and Fukuoka areas, where we are currently based. SUN has been strengthening our telework program since 2020, and at present, nearly 70% of all employees are teleworking. We are also working with local governments to revitalize ICT in rural areas. Furthermore, in 2022, we are considering opening offices in Hiroshima, Hyogo, Miyagi, and Hokkaido for the purpose of recruiting and training local human resources.
