A High School in Sado Fostering Entrepreneurship – Our CEO Joins Talk Event

On February 23, 2025 (Sunday), SUN’s CEO, Nakasone, participated as an entrepreneur guest at a talk event hosted by the Startup Club of Sado Comprehensive High School, held at SHIBUYA QWS (15th floor, Shibuya Scramble Square) in Shibuya, Tokyo.

This talk event was held as a valuable learning opportunity for high school students interested in entrepreneurship and business. It allowed them to interact with active entrepreneurs and creators, giving them a chance to discuss their own ideas and concerns directly.

On the event day, first-year students from Sado Comprehensive High School, aspiring entrepreneurs, participated in lively discussions, asking questions about business and sharing their thoughts and anxieties about starting a business.

Nakasone shared insights about the inspiration behind starting the company and his experiences up to this point. We hope that this event broadened the students’ future options and provided them with valuable hints for taking their first steps toward their goals.

■ About the Startup Club
The “Startup Club” is one of the club activities run by the Exploration Labo (NPO), based in Sado Island. Established to foster talent that can be an asset to society, this club seeks new ways of learning to bridge the educational gap between rural and urban areas.

Middle and high school students who desire to challenge themselves in entrepreneurship and local business can engage directly with entrepreneurs and experts, gaining hands-on learning experiences. In addition, 探求Labo offers real-world business experiences unique to Sado, such as the “GACHI Community Restaurant,” where students take the lead in running a restaurant.
