\n“Silicon Valley” is one of the world’s leading clusters of giant high-tech companies and ventures in the United States. It is also where venture companies have gathered and brought about numerous software and Internet service innovations. Tech companies have also revolutionized the retail and fashion industries, and many D2C startups in Silicon Valley handle everything from manufacturing to sales, primarily online. Silicon Valley, which was originally developed by semiconductor manufacturing and IT-related companies in the software and Internet service industries, has become the forefront of digital marketing and has grown to involve many industries, such as ride-sharing for “transportation x tech” and delivery for “food x tech”.<\/p>\n
Also, companies that have grown in Silicon Valley are gaining brand value as “companies from Silicon Valley.\u201d The land of innovation attracts highly skilled IT professionals from around the world, venture startups are active, and new businesses are being created every day. Thus, we have decided to establish the “Japan Valley” project in Bangladesh in the hope of creating a place in Bangladesh where many industries can connect and collaborate with IT to bring about innovation.<\/p>\n
\u25a0Action Plan<\/b>
\nBangladesh is attracting attention as the next destination for Japanese companies. This project will support Japanese companies to expand their business in Bangladesh and will start by creating a place in Bangladesh where participating companies can gather.<\/p>\n
In November 2022, a local study tour for project participating members is scheduled to include a visit to the exhibition “BASIS SoftExpo 2022”, Hi-Tech Park, and Special Economic Zone. After that, for companies that have decided to expand into Bangladesh, we will provide total support, including procedures for establishing a base, office development, introductions to investors and business partners, collaboration with universities for recruitment, and Japanese language training for employees.<\/p>\n
We also plan to hold networking events for project member companies as a place where new businesses can be born. There are also plans to hold study sessions where employees of member companies can interact with each other.<\/p>\n
