SUN, which upholds the corporate philosophy of \u201cconnect people with people,\u201d supports the mission of the Kodomo-Shokudou(children\u2019s cafeteria) as a hub for community exchange. They regularly host the \u201cSUN Kodomo-Shokudou\u201d at their head office in Minato Ward, Tokyo. This initiative provides a space where local parents and children can gather casually, enjoy meals together, and experience diverse cultures while learning about the world through activities unique to a global company. The SUN Kodomo-Shokudou is a member of the \u201cMinato-ku Children\u2019s Cafeteria Network,\u201d established by Minato-ku.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/b>On the day of the event, we served dishes such as stew, baguettes, fried chicken, and mini cakes. The venue was decorated with a Christmas tree and festive ornaments, creating a seasonal December atmosphere. As everyone gathered around the meal, conversations naturally emerged, and the children were seen enjoying activities such as origami, drawing, and games.<\/span><\/p>\n

We want children to connect with people through food and learn about a new part of the world through interactions outside of school.<\/span>
\n<\/span>With this in mind, we started the \u201cSUN Kodomo-Shokudou.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
